I think it could possibly be old just seeing cars with faces running around. I mean Nemo was all about the sea but you had all these different creatures. But, wait to see more until I make anymore judgements. Love the facial expression on the truck.
I really like the new head sculpt; so what kind of creature is this going to be? Is it going to be some sort of a futuristic human/cyborg thing or what? Sorry if it was already mentioned somewhere here or at the Red Eclipse site, but I didn't see it. Can't wait to see this textured.
I'm actually playing as the wizard, so I keep using her right-click to charm the big creatures. That way they kill the other smaller ones, and also take a lot of damage in the process. But the gnoll guys are so fast that I don't have time to see them.
This is very busy, I'm not really sure what I am looking at beyond the fact that it is bi-pedal. Maybe try and go back to a more gestural stages and nail down a silhouette that can provide a read as to what sort of creature you are aiming for and then progress naturally from there.
Its a dagger shell-like frame strength, durability and the slicing. Inside is fleshy flesh with bio-luminescence veins luring trapping prey. Creatures of the deep use light to attract animals so they can eat, in this case to attack them. This is really a re-work (from scratch).
Great work! I too have seen your site to get a glance at more of your stuff, and you have some awsometastic works that I like a lot. But... for your sketchbook, creatures and other, thumbnails lead me to 404 not found, can you please fix that?
I like what I see accept for the creature on the poster in the last two photos. having the same facial expression and poses as in the eight and ninth photos. Don't get me wrong they look great. keep up the good work. I'm going to subscribe to this sketch book.
--COMPLETE-- A nice quick and relaxed project for a busy February. It was still a really great exercise in creature sculpting, and more gruesome pbr than I've dabbled in in the past. Plus a little quick animation to dip my toes into that field! More views, textures and Marmoset viewer on my Artstation
i have yet to ship a title were i didnt give a character/creature with no pants a beautiful chocolate starfish. its my calling card.. a game a recently worked on i even had the tech artist throw in a bone and when scaled made it look like it was contracting.
Awesome creature model! I also like that the specifications are pretty reasonable. I think the dark areas on the armor are a little too dark, but that could just be my monitor. It would be cool if there was more body hair/fur too. I'm really looking forward to your Comicon entry!
