You can totally use your own face to study and understand what you trying to do and then you could apply it to your subject If I can suggest something key the the mouth is the corner form where all muscle connect [the node modiolus] so if you place this form in it correct relations then you just have to wrap lips tightly…
So I'm wrapping this project up for now pending some feedback. Quite happy with the results, spent while learning how to impliment animating light sources into a scene which was a learning curve but has yeilded some cool and atmospheric results I think. Feel Free to comment with any feedback or thoughts on how to improve.…
Whoa let's get this old thread back to life. I've about wrapped up sculpting on this guy. I'm pretty happy with his silhouette now that he has his tool belt and oil tank on his back. I'm moving on to retopo (easy) and texturing (hard ugh, I'm hoping I can get a lot of the painterly style out of the sculpt and keep the…
Gee, Thanks Fox So this happened My Marmoset Free Trial ended so I have been learning a bit about mental ray these past few days. I like it, though it's quite a bit more complicated I've noticed :poly122: I think I'm gonna wrap this up and move to some texture only low poly stuff to flush out my portfolio more. What do you…
@JeffParrot - Thanks mate, yeah your totally right. So I've been working on this a bit more and while I feel like there's a lot more that can be done to it, I'm considering wrapping this up and moving onto my next project as I can't linger over the same project forever lol. Obviously I'll fix any feedback I receive so let…
Added dirt, grease, wear, tear... all of that jazz. Wrapping this one up this evening. Question: the mirror part is producing some sharp lines due to the triangulation of the big flat surface. There is nothing extra special about it, the topology isn't messed up or anything...I'm thinking I might need to add in more…
Dwalker: Yeah I'm actually currently working on some cracked mud for open ground, like the picture you posted. I also picture the really dry, open field mud to look like that! :D Chillydog: Yep, I'm currently sculpting some mossy rocks for the scene. Plumbjet: My workflow probably isn't all that special, but the mud…
just multiply over your color with a generic detail texture. Personally, I'd recommend a different approach than a sphere mask for that though, just import a clamped (make sure you clamp the UV wrap feature in the texture itself.) texture of the moon if you want a texture defined moon, and scale/reposition/brighten it in…
Update again! I've taken out the background. I think I'm going to just wrap this one up for now I've been obsessing over this one for so long I'm neglecting my other work and my studies. I definitely learned a lot from fixing this old piece of work and I'm so grateful for all your insightful feedback! Thank you all so…
