You can reduce the shells to fit inside the box without losing any texture quality. The frame signifies the area which would be rendered if you do a render to texture/render UV wires. You would choose the size of your texture in your chosen texture software. If you plan on doing a render to texture with your chosen UV…
agreed on the ears. as for the eyes, id just fill them in. also avoid sculpting the eyes from the face mesh as you kinda alluded to, append some z spheres in there instead. i use the clay tubes brush in frame mode to push the filled in part to the back of the eye socket, then the clay tubes brush to make the eyelids at…
Mental ray sss shaders use the camera positioning in its calculations so i dont think you will get a bake from RTT working properly. I think it will give you something in the render frame window so you could grab that and render it out from a few different angles then composite them together in ps. You would have to do it…
@Devon M Thanks for that workflow, really helpful to see it laid out like that. Bed Progress so far. Might go back to the high poly and make the cushions feel a little disjointed from the frame I think (as well as that weirdness with the top cushion. Right now they just meet the metal frame in places. Also just trying out…
Looks great Snowfly... nice and to the point and very clean. The only issue I noticed was the 3D section has a strange offset that shifts all the frames when clicked (the Resume and 2D sections retain the same positioning). Also, will you be linking the title button to anything other than the 2d section? Firefox 3.0…

Amazingly, he was found not guilty in a trial last week as the court ruled Jan had "no idea of the true consequences of his…
Not too bad. Clean layout and I like how you have the images laid out, although I'd bring the gap together a little more. Your wire frame renders however are hard to read. It makes it seem like you're trying to hide something. Id say render it with lighting maybe but all with a grey texture so you can read the wire frame…
You could google it a bit. Its an antialiasing method that blends the pixels in a temporal fashion, i.e looks at high contrast neighbouring pixels in the current frame and softens them based on previous frames. UE has two modes of txaa and you can switch between them in the console LE: looking at the picture again, looks…
The sun. A flaming ball of fire that our planet circles and so do many other planets. But fast forward into the future near the final stages of the suns life and you will see a RED GIANT, that will engulf the inner planets... And Earth. We pleaded to the gods to save us... But they would not... Until one day, a mortal…
