I think some of you view video tutorials in the wrong light. If you need a fast answer right now because you're blocked at work, a video tutorial isn't the right choice. However, if you're winding down at night with your ipad on your patio with a beer in hand, then watching a video on something you aren't totally familiar…
Weapon looks good but realistic lighting as you've already noted needs a bit of work - intensity, scale, exposure...etc. “Anything worth doing, is worth doing right.” :+1: Edit: Also this might be of interest - https://www.artstation.com/blogs/benbolton/YPL3/lighting-for-asset-presentation
Right had so much fun with this one, I found about this three days ago and just worked as fast as I could on this. Challenge was the free photogrammetry asset that I used, had to break it down in several chunks for Lumen to work properly. I did not use Nanite simply because of other free assets I planned to use. Story wise…

Yeah this is coming along great, the lightings really starting to come along. One thing I think that could really help out a lot is trying to work abit more of the blue lighiting in. Right now it just seems one shade of lighting.
Yep, you'r right. Pushed my working hours a bit over the edge last night/this morning :P I'll go back and tweak some textures and take away the third directional light from the camera pos and change the setup to a three light setup.
Judging is over and were FINALLY ready to begin announcing who the winners of Polycounts BRAWL Contest are! As you may remember, the judges were sent the Top 5 FIGHTERS and Top 5 STAGES as voted on by the Polycount Community. From there, they rated the entries in 3 areas: Artistic Achievement, Technical Achievement, and…
Alright, second draft done. I'll talk about what I changed and what I think of it now, but first, here it is: Found him! She didn’t like the bed. It was tall, had very warm and very pink pillows and covers, and the side where her head would be at night was filled with dolls as pink as the rest of the bed. Yet, she didn’t…
