I have a plane that is showing a shadow in my lighting preview (1) but not when baked (2). And the material is set to double-sided. What am I overlooking that is causing this?
http://www.pioroberson.com/images/minitut_topology_worflow.jpg i've never tried to "snap" a stipmodel to a highres version. i've been messing around w/it in max but can't snap planes to faces....don't know what i'm doing wrong. anyone?
has it always been buggy like this. btw im using maya 2011. mirrored meshes sometimes becomes invisible where i have to reapply the shader to the mesh to fix it. and the most annoying thing is it creates a node for the mirror plane in the hypershade and the mirror plane stays after the mirror cut. why cant it just work…
