hear hear! When I was about 7 I once got irrationally angry at my dad (who is actually quite a painter himself) because the method he was trying to teach me was in some insignificant way different from Bob's. Bob was my idol. -

Onsite we've got 5 people doing enviro stuff(levels and enviro art) and no character artists. can someone add a poll option for 0% character artists? Lolez We're about 5-7 envir depending, and 2 character(johny and per! = gay) -

You can get used game for a more resonable price through craigslist..and I am sure there are other outlets besides gamestop and all its clones. Your copy of Halo 7 requires a DNA sample to ensure that you arethe only person that uses it -

MoP - it does seem right, actually. I was in fact using a custom color/toolbar/shortcut setup from max6/7. When I chose the max8 "light" UI, the tools showed up. I am, however, still getting that UV editor issue. -

Dutch, are you calling this done? All the advice given would really bring this piece from a 7-8-out-of-10 to a 10-out-of-10. One thing I learned long ago, was just because you've called it finished, doesn't make it so ;) -

it's a weird situation that although ati does the graphics for xbox2 you need a nvidia board if you want to "pre develop" based on sm3.0. not the smartest move by ati, not having a similar graphics board before the start for the pc, as nvidia with their geforce 7 similar to the one in ps3. -

As soon as I rig something, I always entertain myself by loading up some of the stock animations that came with max 7. never ceases to amuse me. Good luck animating. I've learned how to rig and pose and all that, but my animation skills are horrible.
