you either can use image hosting, like photobucket or imageshack and then take the forum html or it is a buttom to add an image, if the image is too big it will shrink to fit the forum layout.
Pretty important to see images to help you out if ya ask me :p . Try uploading your images to an image site, like photobucket or flickr, then post a link to that.
For reference images I use Windows Photo Gallery. Spend one evening tagging images and you're left with something that can sort through thousands of images almost instantly.
Ok, i figured it out accidently. You have to disable "Display current image regardless of object selection" next to Create new image/open image in UV editor.
