I read the thread. I knew about the streaming movies but so far the selection was crap. I just got sick of waiting days for movies when I can get a lot more from my local blockbuster plus I get a free game rental every month. -

They had the PS3 version on the shelves at my local Costco. When I tried to buy it the till computer started beeping. It took 5 fucking managers like 10 minutes to figure out that it wasn't supposed to be on the shelves, and they couldn't sell it to me. Bummer, guess I'll have to wait till Friday. -

Right now it looks like you have a lot of edges that run across the front bumper that aren't doing anything for the shape, except maybe keeping it from smoothing nicely. Maybe try to re-work the way the geometry is flowing around the curved insets. Try to keep the detail localized if possible. -

First question: Did you restart max? Second question: Did you restart your computer? First suggestion: Delete your .ini file (In max 9 and 2008 it is in your user directory (/user/Local Settings\Application Data\Autodesk\3dsmax\, previous versions in your install directory) -

Nice furniture renders dude :) I can see a bunch of areas where you could improve, but honestly just keep making more art and pushing yourself, you'll end up improving a ton. I'd say remove the Space Marine and the Scifi room. The texturing on the Streets of Amsterdam isn't really up to par, but I'd honestly just move… -

On this screenshot you can see the result of the mirroring legs joints from the left side of the character to the right side. And you can see local axises.
