Can't wait to see the final result. I would suggest doing a quick color pass in photoshop to separate and define all of the materials and textures that are going to be needed. :)
You still need to better define the material on the handle, it looks too similar too the metal. I'd make the diffuse darker and try playing with the spec and gloss.
looks good, define those angles more, shade the parts that need to be shaded more. like angles of the models. dont rely totally on whatever light that will be used.
