hello everyone I'm looking for some feedback on two models I am currently a work in progress the first one is just a copy off digital tutors next gen characters, the second I had no video guidance. So any help would be much appreciated.
Finished up this real-time portrait. My goal was to aim for a quality high enough to be used as a digital double in film but, optimized for games/VR. All running in Marmoset, sculpted in Zbrush with no scans, detailed with a mixture of hand sculpting/custom alphas and Texturexyz, textures painted in Mari.
Hey all, made a start on this challenge, done some rough silhouettes. I'm going for an elemental/enchanted sword. My favourite is 'A' a gamer's sword with a digital pixelated blade, any opinions or feedback welcome.
Agreed; I'm a regular at a digital painting sub-reddit and the ability to post WIP pieces and get back-and-forth critique is invaluable. It's why I'm here! Off to the P&P forum I go, then.
If you didn't know, you can get a 90 days trial (non-premium) at Digital Tutors if you are a student. When you are just starting, you probably don't need the premium. <3
Study of my favourite digital painting by Xiaoyu Wang, Original is here. Don't know why this didn't appear when I submitted it the first time. EDIT: Apparently pending approval. Problem solved.
Hi all, I'm a student at Digital Arts &Entertainment @Howest Kortrijk and this is my very first handpainted work. I modelled it in 3Ds Max and handpainted in Photoshop. Hope you all like it! model
Sorry about that Maximus. Thank you guys for the positive feedback so far! The digital section loads for me, I'm using Chrome. Maybe try a cache clear I guess? Or a different browser.
I have the Cintiq 13HD. I love it a lot for digital painting, but I'm beginning to dislike it for sculpting. Feels too small, and I feel stupid sculpting on a screen half the size of my monitor.
I always figured you'd have quite a bit of experience with zBrush. That said.. wouldn't this have made sense to go in the digital sketchbooks section? Keep it up man! You're learning very quickly ;)
