Thanks for the great tutorials on modular buildings. But in that case, the question remains. On large object - you don't do any kind of details in Zbrush or Mudbox is that so? Because modularity is awesome but it doesn't involve making details in other programs. So, zbrush and mudbox changes can only be applied to smaller… -

It's been a bit slow going trying to find free time but I've managed to make some progress. She's turning into some kind of space rogue, maybe an awesome krull-like laser sword pistol would fit in. I'm still trying to flesh out her niknaks... Not sure how to feel about it all yet. -

My only issue is that Jinx is about guns... Lots of guns... like all about guns and range. I get melee from this, not range. Fencing might not be the best theme unless you can turn swords into gunblades. -

I got a few suggestions tho...kled sword is really near the end of the screen and it may cause tension (?)....maybe it would flow a little bit better if you move kled to where is skaarl and flip skaarl, that way kled would be be positioned in the point of interest of the comp. what do you think? -

Looking awesome so far Alex! Just a small critique on the chainmail - maybe make the links a bit larger and more evenly sized. You can do that by adjusting your base/placement polygons. Also NanoMesh is fun and has a whole bunch of ways to edit and add variation. The pierced swords and arrows are a nice touch! -

Move that sword up higher - it's a really strong piece. In my opinion should definitely be one of the 1st 5 images you see. It should definitely be above the Dumpster, and the 2D concept. -The swings aren't flowing into one another -You're lacking overshoot on the swings -Each swing has a very linear timing, the sword should speed up during the swing -Your poses are also pretty straight and stiff I'd suggest you film yourself acting out the action and looking at reference Good luck man -

Hey man the scratches seem to really stand out to much. I don't know if you've seen this but it might help you alot on working on the blade texture racer examines realistic scratches and damage and explains how he textured his sword, with a neat video tutorial. Hope this helps…
