[3DSMAX] Free form Splines (keep snapping to grid)
Free form modeling of splines in the viewport is a problem in 3DSMax. I am probably missing something. A while back they introduced the ability to rotate the viewport in 3Dsmax while editing the spline. But splines keep snapping to the grid while grid snapping is off. I just want to free form extrude splines in the view… -

A really nice job however what caught my eye, aside from the low poly running gear was the main armament mantel. I'm not sure whether this is a personal design choice? I'm only curious because from research there seems to be a protective (debris) canvas shroud between the turret trunnion mount and mantlet covering a void… -

Hey Rikrok4! Are you using metallic or specular workflow? I'll assume metallic for now - For the reflection material, simply create a color layer, and give it a black Albedo, a metallic of 1 (white) and a low Roughness of 0.1 - 0.2.
