Basically this: Export the creases that i made in maya to an object and make it work in zbrush, I'm trying that but for some reason didn't work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owCJ1COpOe8 Btw I'm using both maya and zbrush 2019
anyone have any experience getting an ifl file to load in maya? it works like a breeze in max, but on the surface doesn't appear to be supported by maya. Hmmm...
i'm only familiar with joint rigging, but perhaps a cluster deformer might work for you? just an idea, havent done it myself i believe a cluster deformer is kind of like selecting a component with soft selection enabled this might also be of interest : Maya 2020 | Rivet Command (youtube.com)
12k per seat?? Can I ask where you got that information, because I'm looking at the licenses right now and I can see a perpetual Houdini license for commerical use is 2k, whereas Maya is 1.8k for a year's subscription... And what of Houdini Engine for Maya/Unreal and Unity, GoZ Bridge?
Thank you :) Something from another project, been playing around with my own motorcycle design. Started in zbrush and now finding forms in SubD in Maya
So i tought i would use my winter break to follow a tutorial and up my 3D skills (hopefully) but i ran into a problem. The tutorial wants me to download these scripts; https://www.highend3d.com/maya/script/vertex-align-tools-corner-align-for-maya/download https://www.highend3d.com/maya/script/wp-rename-for-maya…
Just curious if anybody figured out a way to crease all hard edges in Maya at once. The shelf script undoz made only works in Maya 2015 and I'm on Maya 2014. If anybody knows of such a script and can link it that would be appreciated :)
