usually it's just done with a bone on the gun. However if you're in UDK it'll probably help if you turn on position on the animations. UDK does not animate position by default.
Anyone know why this is happening? Some patches are just dissapearing depending on the angle looking at the terrain, LOD settings are default btw. Not sure how/when it started...
Figured it out. Near clipping is non zero and the prefab was created with a default value of -9 for some reason. Had to change the player prefab z-dimension to 0.
Try reinstalling the Suite (Quixel is our company, not our product ;) ) to a new directory such as *\Quixel SUITE 2.3.2\ instead of the default. Let me know if that clears it up! :)
no it's more like generating a dynamic cage on the fly or maybe even with an modifier in the modeling package .. the normal map you get must be renderable the default way of course
