nice work on those stones. I would recommend checking this out though: [ame=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7he9xqmg2XU"]modelink texturing sculpting rock formations - YouTube[/ame] cheers
Painting base stone is rather therapeutic. Chair, rug, bearskin painted, and the fireplace modelled out for finishing tomorrow. Prop shot is from 3d Coat - I love that program so much.
The stone textures looks really cool and eye comfy but grass texture really hurts my eyes, you should balance the colors a bit better and play with hue and all that PS filters..
Heres an art dump of some of the stuff I did for Rad Rodgers, Everything is made by me except the foliage on the Good elder tree that was made by Chris Pollitt, and the foliage on the WoodenScaffolding and the stone huts that was made by Cade Cook.
I'm thinking of a hall which is filled with riches (pretty stones and minerals etc) as well as trophies such as dead aliens of other species. A red sun, day time yet the light is really dim on the planet's surface.
The HP looks great and the LP are pretty clean bakes, great/consistent looking cracks throughout the stone in your assets, might I ask what your workflow in Zbrush for creating them are?
Great work! The only thing I would say is to push the spec map of the metallic parts to emphasize that they are actually metals. Right now, to me they seem more like some sort of stone.
Wow, I love that stone ground! Everything just looks great! BUT the flag is jumping up and down in a kinda strange way while the wind it's dancing in the wind... that feels a little strange to me.
a lot of your cracks look too soft, random or oddly placed. along the bottom stones, the crack highlight is on the top, implying your lighting is coming from the bottom, contrary to the other highlights.
