Crunch wasn't scheduled and there was no requirement to stay a certain amount of time but things were due at a certain time. Overtime restrictions were removed during the crunch.
The amount of detail in the engine is definitely splooge worthy. I couldn't imagine seeing the entire tank done with that detail, it would probably blow my mind.
on first glance it looks cool. however under critique it seems use an insane amount of polygons and isn't terribly accurate to the original. welcome to the boards btw
Boston was too far to make it this year. If you want super amounts of networking, GDC would be it (over already). (Some parts of GDC are like exhibitions)
a rule on quoting a good amount of large images with a relatively tiny message (usually "Good work!!") could be useful to quell down the ghetto-looking redundancy.
does anyone know how i could make use of all the uv grid without wasting unnecessary amount while keeping the checkers square enough????? everytime i do it always goes rectangular??
