I agree that would be ideal but it isn't always an option for things like this. For example if you use a tripart mesh to create hair planes in zbrush, you'll have to UV them after the fact.
Should I break the interface in pieces? For example, one "rectangle" interface separated in 4 parts. Is the outside a glow or another gradient? I'll do it in illustrator and then the layout is done in Photoshop . Thanks for the advice
Windows 8.1 64 here, running fine. Does it make a difference if you right-click the shortcut, go to Properties and then set some options in the Compatibility tab (like Compatibility Mode for example)?
I think seperate threads are fine and actually simpler to search. You just need to add the theme of the challenge in the title. For example it could be "Weekly Anatomy Challenge - Week 2 [Male arm].
xform reset IS pretty important before export.. :) Edit: Don't known about UDK but in Unity if you have non-uniform scale for example causes mesh to not batch and additional VBOs submits...
thanks for the advice. i will work on the over the theme of shapes and rhythm and see what works and what doesnt. thats a good example, all the shapes are related and seems part of the overall design. thanks!
GPU Boss is a great website to compare cards. http://gpuboss.com/gpus/GeForce-GTX-970-vs-GeForce-GTX-460 For example the 970 is 3x the price for about 3x the power of a 460.
Here's an example of changing color values dynamically. http://ericchadwick.com/img/env_robot_rising.html#gameplaydesign About halfway into the video. It's a timelapse. That's the Unity interface I'm using. And that's the interface for a shader that one of the programmers wrote.
Did you try using -columnWidth flag for that field....For example add something like -columnWidth3 50 100 20 where the 3 numbers control label filed and button width separately.
just order 4-6 packs of nibs and, for example, an extra surface sheet if you like the "tooth" of intuos4 sufracing you'll be fine for a year at least, and paying for delivery won't be so pointless.
