Falls right in line with FCS stuff. I agree about the worn look. Here is a good example of a vehicle that looks worn but not messy: http://www.scottduquette.com/tmp/tank_terran_missiletank_comp_01.jpg
In the last example, it depends on the thing you are building. If your building was a 21st century concrete and steel building, then hell yeah, snap away. If it was a 3rd centrury cottage, then make it uneven.
That's fun! I prefer the first one. I dont think the orthographic concept survived the transition though. The proportions aren't working for me. The flat shoulders and long arms for example.
yep, extremely buggy (for example, you see how theres 2 copies of francis?) It is REALLY fun leaping around as a hunter. Reminds me of the old days playing AVP2.
Back on track - I read an awesome example of the AI at work here: http://www.shacknews.com/ja.zz?id=11880251 Don't worry about the 'spoiler' text - there's nothing remotely spoilery in there.
Hi, looking for someone to model Demencia (from Villainous) hood (example). Looking for something that can fit with this style. Doesn't need to be too detailed but not too simplified either. I need to have it as an .obj format. DM me if you're interested.
absolutely pure topology. it's just a UV sphere separated once by a separation surface modifier the problem appears only on this mesh. there is no dense topology here, as for example on the body of a lizard (900,000 polygons), but the body is easily exported. triangulation doesn't help either
It might also help you to see examples of what the end result looks like. We have some good examples here that are worth studying as you work on your own organic low poly models: http://wiki.polycount.com/wiki/BodyTopology
Been trying to find a 3ds max online tutor but it isnt working. For example superprof website requires me to pay without talking to the tutor first, who knows if the tutor is even available. Any trustworthy place i can find a tutor?
