Help with Wacom Tablet
I own an old Wacom Graphire 4 and I dunno why but I get a weird lag when drawing and painting in photoshop or moving vertices in Maya. I draw a line and it takes almost a second or so to actually see it on screen. The same goes with vertices in Maya. what can that be? -

You have to find the method that suits you. I can't draw all that well so I'd model it out and render out a 2D view for colouring in Photoshop. But you may find it easier to just draw it out and apply to a mesh. -

nice colors. I would suggest finding some life drawing classes. But Nice color structure, a well balance for the rogue. Given a year of dedicated life drawing, you could be producing some amazing concepts, I am sure. -
Re: UDK text, can I add a stroke?
Perhaps you could just draw a second set of text in black with an incrementally larger size but draw it behind the white text? I've had to fake strokes that way in ps or illustrator on occasion when the font doesn't like to play nice. -
Re: God Rays
As far as I know the God Rays in UDK are done by drawing the area around the light to a low-res buffer, then repeatedly drawing it at different locations/scales so it makes a nice blurry ray. At certain settings you can see the separation. -
Re: photoshop and shift-clicking
It happens because you are using a tablet with Opacity jitter set in photoshop. When I'm going to draw that way I make sure to go up the brush properties and click off Opacity jitter. Or just do all the drawing with a mouse. -
