Heyo, I'm a junior character artist trying to pry my way into the industry and I'm hoping you guys can give me some feedback on my work so far. I'm not sure if this is the right place to post it https://davysartcorner.artstation.com
Hi PolyCount, For my University dissertation I am looking at two options for my research subject. My current aim for when I leave is to be an environment/ asset artist so I'm going with a subject that I can benefit me in this area. 1. My first idea for research is looking into Physical Based Shaders and material as they…
Just a few comments. - I didn't watch it with sound, so not sure if I missed a lot without it - this was the craziest thing ever! - some effects I didn't even think Cry engine could do (the warping highlighted walls, the black and white bird scene) - barrels exploding INTO existence (rather than exploding and getting…
my main reference was this project https://www.artstation.com/artwork/VR8eZ but wanted to do less stylizes, and rest I have similar refs for jar that you sent here, I will try add a bit of SSS. I just ran into this post on ArtStation the other day! Nice :) My biggest issue is the water/puddles are so evenly spread across the street and aren't really pooling in any dips or streams, plus the sidewalk looks pretty dry in relation. Super cute environment, good job.

Hey guys! Sry, for not updating last week, was very busy. Here is the PPK Walther handgun I've been working on. I'm still working on the textures. I'm determined to texture this gun properly and polished. But on the bright side, I'm doing good a far as lowpoly and normals go. Cheers.
needs more filth. (earty warn tones) dip your whole head in one of those grease bins that you usually find behind Chinese restaurants, them dry off on the floor of a car mechanic. Gonna be lots of jokers this year, but who ever is the dirtiest will reign supreme.
Picked it up wednesday at lunch. So far I'm liking it a lot. Seems to be another beautiful PoP game. Good job. I'll be playing thru it over the weekend...that is when I pry myself from playing WoW. So many good games, so little time.
I do agree the way Maya does it is not good as Max or Blender. I'm currently working on automating this: I'm trying to make a script that does this: Specify what the child object is Parent constraint the target to the object's offset(locator) Set the keyframes either with S shortcut or the UI Parent constraint the target…
