Do not think of it as 'tossing' out your work. Everything you create you should be improving from. Your next model should always be better then your last. I am a big fan of 'moving on' from work. If you stagnate on one scene or object, you tend to over work it and it becomes more of a mess and less of a learning… -

I don't like using bridge mainly for 2 reasons, I feel like the tagging system is inefficient. 1. Example. Say you have Image A tagged as "character", then you exit adobe bridge. Ok thanks, this helps a lot, as for the journals section, it was there i was going to include break downs of the things i make, so would you still recommend removing that ? soo have say props , each prop has renders first of all, followed by sketchfab, then break down to the bottom of the page? ps. props and/or environment… -

Small Update: After spending some time learning Substance Designer(WHICH IS FUCKING AWESOME), and re evaluating how I go about making PBR textures, I learned a lot and then continued to work on some more props. Even though the props are small, every little prop adds more and more life to the scene. -
Re: Improving my portfolio!
If you want to become a prop artist then you will need some interesting props that are textured. recruiters want to see props that can be placed in the engine so you need to add stuff to your portfolio that is finished.
