IIRC, you need to open these files: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Material VMT files will contain your Gloss number, color, etc. just open them with a Text Editor. I know at one point Valve mentioned you could make and modify your own VMT files, but not sure if they still put in support for that. -

i must have passed it up lol. I just started using XBrush about a month ago and am still learning everything about it. does the crease tool work on open geometry? i will be applying a mirror mod on the objects i am importing, all of them have open faces on the x axis. -

I would love to finish the Iron Giant but I can barely even open the file anymore. and any 1 process (i.e. append to polygon tool) could take anywhere up to 10 minutes to load. I can't find a solution :neutral: Trying to open it now so I can take better screenshots -

Curves>Open/Close Curve? Or holding "c" while using the move tool, you can constrain points along the curve, drag to the end so they overlap. You also wrote "curve this CV curve", so if you wanted to convert the type, open the Rebuild Curve dialog and change the degree from 1 to 3. -

A closed curve/spline extruded along another curve/spline with a twist deformer applied to it (offset the twist deformer from the open curve, the more offset it is the larger the diameter of the spirals)... Hi everyone :) I thought I could opened a .max model I bought in blender but it's actually the .3ds that we can open :( I tried online converter but the file is too big (70mo) I also tried to install the trial version of autodesk 3dsmax but I keep getting error when downloading...
