Noth I don't do much of a character modelling lately , more of environment stuff: walls , rocks , tiling surfaces , etc and use Zbrush more like a manual touch to SDesigner. To fix taste related things. To weed out some obviously procedural looking things like slope blur produced erosion or curvature edge masks. Once…
This can be done with an Orbit and a Initial RotRate. Example: You set the orbit to have matching Max and Min, on Offset and Rotation, use the Initial RotRate as a negative version of the Orbit's Rotation to keep the sprite from 'moving'. Keep in mind that this is really just an illusion and if you were to look at it from…
Ok I update the link above with green channel flipping. I was kinda hoping that I would wake up and this would be added to other shaders. The problem with mine is I made it in shader fx and so the code is fairly messy. Also with other shaders they would have to just add this quick feature of allow multiple channels for the…
So basically I'm making a game which has two players in the same view port, and both players are forced forward automatically like in temple run. because of the camera its important that both players remain in the same area, preferably running at exactly at the same speed the whole time, but obviously when strafing you…
My process is as follows: B.A.E to extract model & texture files Noesis to convert .nif to .obj (remember to tick "Flip UV" every single time you export a mesh) AMD Compressonator to convert the normal map from BC5 to a standard format After you convert the normal map the channel order will be reversed so you will have to…
I want to create a simple command, that will take the selected components and align them to a point under the users mouse, limiting the movement to a single axis. This can be done in default Maya but its cumbersome and involves multiple steps: * Select components to be moved * Activate the axis they are to be moved along…
Blender already does the "magnet" stuff. It's called proportional editing (O and Alt+O for connected vertices only) and it works pretty much the same as what you're talking about and it uses a vector curve to control the falloff. Blender also can scale along any axis by pressing X,Y, or Z. You can also lock out an axis by…
I am not experienced in programming or blueprint, I know just very basic stuff. I was following a tutorial for a vehicle, but I wanted to do some extra stuff. Like making the vehicle tilt on the side as it turns. Like in this image, the vehicle tilts on the Y axis not just turning. The tutorial made the vehicle tilt…
Hello, I could really use some help with Zscripts if anyone has the time and would be kind to help me. It would be a great help even if you could only tell me if it's doable, thanks in advance. I want to deform (move) a pillar (vertical cylinder per say) in a certain axis given height information (Y axis) and time, and…
Keep going, this is a great start. Look more closely at the second reference, how the inner Y shape works, where it goes into the top of the ear, and how it has an underhang on the left. Also it would help to make a rudimentary head to attach it to, so you can create the back of the ear. Indent the ear hole too!
