I dunno if just owning a 360/PS3/PC makes you a hardcore gamer... these days a lot of kids have an 360 and a PS3, but if they only play one or two game sessions a week on either one i doubt they're hardcore. I know a few guys who have all consoles and a PC but they don't actually play games all that much, and when they do…
I meant the entire gun looked pretty skinny compared to the ref width wise. Take a look at Kaskad's, the gun is a lot wider in comparison. At the moment his looks more accurate. http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/3699/ref1.jpg
Yeah hands... i hate making hands, one of the easiest things to mess up. Anyway, for your first character i think this is shaping up very well, its all just about practice and research. When i started learning how to model human forms i went through a load of anatomy books, also images of naked females arent hard to find…
I've survived 8 car crashes, in 4 of them the car was a write off. In the worst of them, the car span about 720 degrees horizontally after it collided with a grass embankment ( the driver was trying to show off, see how fast and tight he could take the corners), it flipped onto the roof and span a further 360 degrees. When…
lol those downfall videos never get old ^_^ Suck ass news about the servers though. I signed the petition. Though I'm getting it on 360...LOL. I have a game night once a week with family back in Minnesota and they're all getting it on the console =\
not on PC it isn't, jerks. :( I was going to get the 360 version until I found out my friends were buying it on PC, I could get it for half price on PC, and that the superior version is on PC... so I guess I'll wait :(
Everybody should do what Harmonix and Red Octane do and require a special controller to play their games. That kinds hurts the piracy thing, at least for your first release. Honestly though, the 360 must have some decent anti-piracy measures in place (which I have no idea what they are), since the software for it seems to…
In-engine instancing is the key. These are likely polygonal characters, not billboards. Video memory is at a premium, so it would take too many frames of bitmap animation to pull off all the character variations and their motions. But the 360 and PS3 can push a ton of polys. That's my theory, dunno for sure.
Lol... It was rumored Bleszinski would announce Bulletstorm with Gears 3 tonight on Fallon, but Electronic Arts ruined the surprise this morning with an official press release: http://uk.xbox360.gamespy.com/xbox-360/people-can-fly-project-ea/1083061p1.html
