I'm a little rusty on this, but I think if you right click on your editor icon and go to Properties then add this after your exe path in the Target field - +editor +r_fullscreen 0 +r_gamma 1 +vid_restart it will work out for you. So, for example: "C:\DOOM 3\doom3.exe" +editor +r_fullscreen 0 +r_gamma 1 +vid_restart Gav
first low poly test in blender, just did the torso to see how things look. its currently sitting a bit high at about 1600 tri , my target for was about 5000 tri .. so that leaves me 3400 to do the arms and leg.. so 800 or so for each limb ? not very much but it might still work.
the producer has a large role in the overall scope of what a film is going to turn into, but hes not the director. The director still handles most everything. The producer just makes big meaningless decisions like: ALL HOBBITS MUST BE 9 FEET TALL. THE DRAGON SHOULD BE AFRICAN AMERICAN. and stuff like that. They worry about…
Most efficient way to troubleshoot is to retrace your steps. Same way as if you lost your car keys. So begin at step one. The models you baked - lets check both of those (the target and the source). Next is the UV layout. Need to look at that. Afterwards comes the actual baking, but it's easier to only do one thing at a…
I haven't been back to polycount much in ages, much less commented... This is a really cool project! I didn't see it mentioned anywhere and I'm curious, are you using a bone-based rig at all or is this entirely driven by morph targets? Could this setup drive a face rig in UE4 in real-time or are there processing steps…
That color pallete suggest to me illness or pollution. The doughy look of the modeling suggest sadness and depravity. Like one of those Tim Curry claymation horrors. A happy sky might turn things around a litlte bit, but overall I would not say this is not a friendly look. But probably you should find out what the target…
err probably because not everyone that knows a bit of "code" knows every bit of code. "You just need a terminal to hack into the mainframe through the backdoor" "I don't get it, I thought you said you where a programmer? Why can't you re-target Chinese ICBM's to obliterate Russia using my Commodore 64!?" It's that simple...
I actually worked for quiet some time with a tablet in 3ds Max on my last job. It was realy cool because I had the feeling that I could click more precisely when using stuff like 'target weld'. And maybe that's just me but I never had any problems with the Max navigation while using my pen. ^^
Thanks for your input nl. Ghost didn't survive over-creamed exoskeleton art styles, the ability to fly in a FPS didn't worked too much for Titanfall either. It as to do with aiming a target in midair on a domination map. Your brain will tell you at a point in time "enough". Good luck Call of Duty, some risky moves here.
you can also use the skin utilities - it allows you to export a mesh that contains skin weights which you can transfer to another mesh. you can edit the skin weight mesh if you need to detach bits or fit it to a different shaped target as well. try skin wrap first - if that doesn't work look at skin utilities.
