I think this is a good start, however, everything is very low poly and clean. What type of looking were you going for? What is the intended use for this? Is it for a mobile title or are you thinking this is more for a higher end title? Is it suppose to be heavily stylized or more realistic?
Definitely agree with you! The more I look at it definitely the more I notice it now, its actually quite bothersome :D As for the cloth I was trying stylized but I didn't quite hit my mark, completely agree about the strange welding together
It seems like a good start, although the elbows and abdomen look off. I would suggest trying to simplify the forms in those areas and study anatomy or stylized anatomy a bit more. (not an expert on anatomy or Darksiders art style, but that is what stands out to me)
Great work guys. Will add comments soon, but these are great starts. I just blocked a kick in last night. Lots of work to do but the major actions seem solid. This is more of a "stylized" take on the kick than an accurate depiction of the style. Just having fun with it.
I like your design and color. Very sleek and stylized. I suppose it being brand new is what you want? I see no wear/tear or any aging at all which is strange considering the environment around the payer is quite realistic in this regard.
I think the tree itself looks really out of place with everything else. You are playing it straight edged in terms of scale/geometry on the pole, but the tree is very stylized in its form. Feels like 2 seperate styles getting jammed together to me.
hand painting object space normals for stylization purposes is a thing people have been playing around with semi recently. It makes for a really cool effect. But as far as I can figure out neither marmoset nor substance painter actually support it in a way that also previews the normal map result. Seems only blender can do…

Very cool by ToothWu Here is the sculpt so far Currently unhappy with arm armor bits, Armor detailing in general if anyone has any tips on how to cleanly detail the armor. Workflow rn is Z modeler, apply dynamic sub d,…
Your portfolio does have a bit of 'Jack of all trades' vibe to it. It can be a lot of fun to create many different kinds of art, but to compete professionally in 3-5 art disciplines, be prepared to put 3-5 times as much time and effort to advance your skills. You mentioned that you are primarily looking for work as a…
I'll agree with most of what you said. More stylized games are fewer and far between now and days. Borderlands was a great one, TF2, any Blizzard game... etc. However, some games just don't lend themselves to a stylized world. Modern Warfare for instance would be completley ridiculous if it was. It just doesn't fit.…
