There's more to it than that. When you have to shove 10 or 15 assets onto the same texture page, figure out how to share space and manage the LOD UVs it starts to be a lot of work. I've seen UV sets for prop sets take talented people a couple of weeks to put together
UPDATED!!! [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYXmJLshtZw[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wjf-EsJEa8U[/ame] I am premiering footage of rainbow star girl at E3 on showroom C in Bathroom D next to the hand dryer. All press in attendance must have proper credentials.
Hey Nikhil, nice work. I never watched star trek myself, but the materials on the weapon were looking very flat to me so I found this : which I think is the reference? It feels like your textures are a bit unfinished relative to the face -- almost reading like flat shaded. I think a few layers of subtle noise in both color…
Hi, I am currently working on an environment based on a piece of concept work from star wars. I was hoping to get some more critiques on how to make the scene more interesting and portfolio ready. I have already received some but I was hoping to see if I could get some more feedback.
I am a big fan of Doug Jones. His Saru is the best alien charcter of the Star Trek: Discovery so far. I have finished modeling of the main shapes and now im moving on to surface details, uv and bakes. would love to hear some crits Here is my references and first zbrush renders.
Your point about dumping responsibility for orbiting the model and finding places for feedback is such a good one we hadn't considered that! Loving the idea for allowing the author/creator to set their own "render views" to be more specific and granular about where they're requiring feedback and limiting the friction for…
So this is the first hard surface project I've actually completed. The blaster is heavily inspired by different pistols from the Star Wars universe, and some concepts from The Old Republic MMO. Critique is very welcome. I don't know how much more I'm gonna work on this, but I'd like to know what I could improve for future…
Hey, here in Montréal we are building a brand new team with Cloud Imerium games and Turbulent to work on Star Citizen (tech art, env art, concept art) join us ! https://turbulent.breezy.hr/
Hey guys, this is my first post on this site, and I decided to dedicate it to my current project: modeling out background characters from the Star Wars franchise. This first one I finished a week ago (made in ZbrushCore), and I posted this onto both Sketchfab and ArtStation. I appreciate all comments! (link:…
Hello again fellow Polycounters! I have started up another Environment project, this time a runestone interior! So I haven't done much hard surface interior environment work before and I saw this concept from Ioan Dumitrescu that was made for The Northman. (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LeXBKR) The scene is set under…
