I am a big fan of Doug Jones. His Saru is the best alien charcter of the Star Trek: Discovery so far.
I have finished modeling of the main shapes and now im moving on to surface details, uv and bakes.

Actually i want to make it both - in cinematic and real time format. I think i can share about 90% of my assets between them.
Here is the Al sss shader rendered in vray. For realtime ill take sweet Paragon skin shader. Had pleasure to use it recently.
I am still looking for good combination of shape, specularity and coloration for them.
Only 3500 tris, i have to add more polys to the top part of the head. Eyes are still off, i`m working on them.
Funny to see how it looks better than prerendered one, and i have 120 frames per second, versus 1 frame per 600 seconds using Vray.
