thats a great tips!! hopefully i can find some good ones here. as i mentioned in sweden i found a media center with gtx 760, i5-4670, 8 gb ram and with all goodies for 1 000 euro/1000 usd!! and it weights less then 1 kg and smaller then ive ever imagined! -

This is the level the character will walk around. Lots of work left, but to post it sooner than later was better. The level can be as large as possiable, but only 50 000 can max be shown. Which I am going to divide the levels into sectors so the engine loads upp specific parts when the player entersthe designated areas =) -

Creating DS Textures
The DS has supports 18-Bit (260 000) colors. In photoshop, how do you tell your color palette to only display colors that are 18-bit? I don't know if its something totally noob of me to not know, but I can't find it in the photoshop help files either. Thanks for any help -

That happens because when a vertex that has NO weight painted on it automatically moves to the 000 of the world. To avoid that when painting low poly meshes (the 1 bone to 1 vertex influence) you can weight paint the desired vertex to be influenced by another joint. Maybe that helps. Sorry, my bad, completed eluded me to put in my target tri count. Something around 10, 000 tris, or below. Im making it with the intent of it being a portfolio piece rather than an environment prop, so id assume that around that number seems fair for such a model?
