Hi guys, just saw some great looking stuff here as usual! Got around and finished this fully rendered frame I did with max/vray, zbrush and photoshop. It's based on California's Death valley with a bit of surreal weirdness, hope you like it. Cheers
I would say about 50% Zbrush. I started using it for the hard surface stuff towards the end of modeling this guy and realized I could have used to for almost 100% of it. I used a lot of Michael Pavlochich's techniques from his YouTube channel.
For the last couple of weekends I've been trying out a zbrush/handpainted workflow. I made a Pharaoh bust and a tiling stone texture. For the tiling texture I followed Fanny Vergne's tutorial from Vertex #2 and Orb's crack brush tutorial. These are rendered in Marmoset.
My latest 3D endeavor. Design inspiration and surfaces reference comes from f-35 lightning helmet as well as some older soviet helmets. It was modeled entirely in Zbrush R6. Rendering and material set up in KeyShot 5, textures come from dDo2.

I have an addiction to Zbrush at the moment. I started sculpting a marvel heroine today (cookies to whoever can guess who it is even when she's bald) and this is as far as I got before my wrist gave out. Can't wait to work more on it tomorrow!!
