a bit later than I expected.... "If you were like everybody else, you wouldn't be standing here making statements about not making statements..." That should give it away nicely :P -N
Dude, Adam, this thread rules. My only comment, needs a touch of industrial spice: [ame] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXWbhX5ZleU[/ame] I cant play this song loud enough.... -N
very nice! im really interested in your texturing process, as it almost seems somewhat procedural. did you just go nuts in photoshop brushing back n forth on all of those bricks?
lots of n-gons where I expected some edges like some of the cylindrical shapes- add them at least at the end so your model does not end up with funny triangulation results.
Pretty sweet - sorta reminds me of a Berzerker from the old Rifts RPG (one of those non-electronical type games). Google has failed me for ref photos.... all is lost. -N!
Plain and simple yin-yang blend of Greentooth and the Marmoset marmoset. I hope you all like this, and criticisms would be helpful. - 3 colours (not sure how the rule applies to gradients) - logos, names, dates n' places
Wow the wood and metal parts work out very nice! Pretty inspiring ^^ There's a little n-gon at the bottom of the stock you might want to get rid of (Doesn't look planar at first sight).
Ah... "Shift+S" then select "Snap to Grid" (or menu "Mesh > Snap > [selection]"). You can also manually align something using "Transform" Properties ("N" - the very top set of XYZ coordinates)
