hey all, quick question. generally when do you use color in a spec map? Just in metal? I am doing stone and grass and was curious if i should add color to it? thanks ! cpcp
Figured everything should be neatly settled in one post, so here it is. To start off, I have a stone wall texture I recently made as of today... It tiles best on the X axis.
made a few minor lighting changes to the emissives to add a bit more personality, also added glowing cracks to the stone the sword is in to blend them together better
Really cool, I like the sculpted stone textures and their modular usage - look forward to seeing textures on the next bits, and maybe some further lighting work?
Lots of good stuff here! Really find your grass and stones successful in the scene. May want to retouch the leaves a bit as they feel a bit flat at the moment.
