This one is based on a Creature Box concept which can be found here. Check them out they really rock! https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8n3E I'll do a low poly textured version soon.
I think that's just a statue and not an actual creature. So it can be just an homage, or it can mean that there's going to be some role for the xenomorphs in the story. I personally still think that Scott is playing with the fans at this time ;)
I feel for you, atleast it looks like you're doing a far better job than I when attempting a soft-bodied creature. Good luck, I hope it works out for you.
Just a tiny thing: the tail...just before it connects to the body in the side profile, it seems to get smaller. I'm not sure that would happen...I think it's largest where it connects to the body (on most creatures)
[ QUOTE ] Kirin Shiro'ken? What are those... "things"? [/ QUOTE ] The Shiro'ken Monk is the beastie from Guild Wars. The Kirin (Or Qilin, depending on whether you're speaking Chinese or Japanese) is the mythological creature that he's based on.

Hey, nice start 👍️ I recommend checking the balance/weight distribution. In the concept, the wings act as a sort of hanger, carrying the creature. Another feature is that the tail blends seamlessly with the torso and the hind legs look less developed. Keep it up! 🚀
You might want to post on zbrushcentral as well. Might get some answers faster there. Oh good GOd, just saw the creature you're working on. Keep that evil thing away from me!
Awesome work, really love the creature and the concepts. Look forward to seeing more. The environments look like they could use a bit more character, though. It all seems a bit sterile, with everything in it's place.
Spent a little time fleshing out how the creature will be articulated and what its range of movement needs to be. I want the thing looking functional and the design will be driven by that. And a quick parked-active anim test
