I've set up a DDO shortcut for each, following the tutorial, properly append -inputpaths "path" and 1.8 creates an xml file and project folder with no maps, and 2.0x just crashes. Has anyone else got this to work? Thanks
Hello everyone. I am organizing my folder after a small project. I just want to keep the main Substance Painter file. Can I delete the ".spp.painter_lock" file? Will it result in any lost data if I open the file next time?
You will need to get the game from here, then download the new bmps I have done, from here. Put the images from the zip into the data folder for the game. To see what it looked like before, look here. Screenshots: As always C&C welcome =)
Wondered if anybody here could help me out with this. When I place the IPhysique.gup file in the plug-ins folder and try to load max it says it failed to initialize. The specified module cannot be found. Wondered if anybody else has had the same problem with this plug-in and how to fix it.
dropbox! Copy file to dropbox/public folder > Right click file > copy public link > Paste link. 2gb of free space, holds any kind of file, syncs between any PC, its pretty awesome.
wow i am saving this to my inspirations folder... thank you very much!! haha looks amazing!! and ooooo a tutorial??? can never say no to a tutorial!! but on a serious note, only if its not too much trouble for you
Found it, read it, cried and thought how I am in the same position. New portfolio piece stays in the render folder for...2 months and still not on the site :D http://www.polycount.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1660388&postcount=1
Great idea, thank you! How would I go about doing such a thing? I've seen sites that have a side to side type banner/button/folder for grouped content but I have no idea how to do that.
An update to the propaganda screen I'm working on. I found this reference image online (I'm at work and can't get to my reference folder) This is what they look like in game: Made the high poly of the base structure over the weekend.
Well, Maya also has a backup function while crashing. It tries to save your files, but it puts on the temp folder of your system. You can grab the .ma file there. 20% of the times tho you wont be that lucky.
