Anyone remember the Bloody Mess perk in fallout 1 & 2? It basically made all the deaths way more gruesome. Pistol kill = exploded torso. Dead Rising has good deaths too, sledge hammer and samurai sword are good.
the only game i played that i was dissapointed in was red steel, they need to tweek the controls, they felt really off when it came to gun play, the sword play was far better but still need some tweeks, metroid on the other hand was fantastic.
I've been playing a bunch of PS1 games lately and I've noticed that the characters are usually a bunch of objects instead of one piece. Example: Notice how Cloud's (guy with big sword and hair) arms and legs seem to be split up into 2 pieces instead of one? Why exactly is that?
Hi there! This is my very first low-poly model and I just wanted to know what you think about it. It's still in process, I want to improve the textures and make some poses with the swords. So all comments will be welcome! :) Sketchfab link: http://sketchfab.com/m5ljh2dc0b Thanks!
This is the character as of last week.(1st image) I finally got to pin it down to fine tune it. This is the before. This is what I've done to clean up and shape out details for it. I still have some subtools to make like her sword. More to come soon.
Hi haven't posted here in ages, but thought I'd try getting some pointers on this illustration I'm working on. I think I'd still like to add some more detail, rain splashes, definition on certain parts of the lady with the sword. Any thoughts or crits welcome. Cheers, Mark
Hey! So making this character and I am having a really rough time with the arm(the one not holding the sword), and how to make the metal armored wings feel more metallic. Also, if anyone else has any recommendations for hair, let me know :) Thanks again guys!
Hey guys, I've googled but not sure exactly what to query. I want to import a model to 3D Coat from Maya for painting and, just like in Substance Painter, hide certain parts of the model so that I can just paint bits of it, such as the blade of a sword. Please help!
Hello! I am thinking of a more tournament-styled helmet for the Agatha Vanguard, something like the image below. Though I haven't decided about the weapon yet. Either some sort of sword or even a spear in the shape of a lance. More images to come. Best regards, Joakim
Hi, I was baking normals for a sword in Toolbag and low-poly mesh with baked normals have visible edges: Normal map looks good on it's own, I used triangulated mesh, Mikk/xNormal Tangent space. The mesh was made in Blender and exported as .fbx.
