Yeah this is very depressing for students/people trying to break into the industry, I was hoping to land a job by the end of summer in 6 months or so, but if people are being laid off at this rate, I don't have too much hope.
What about your students? Weren't you teaching at a University? Good luck with your travels. Sounds like it's gonna be fun. I could use some of your freelance work, but I don't have any money
Congratulations man, I am also from Czech Republic. I am still a student so I wonder what company do you work for? Also what school did you study? Again congratulations.
This is really, really cool, especially the moCap and facial tracking. It's great to see such high-quality work from 6th semester students! Until now I wasn't even aware that there's a gaming study in Darmstadt. Keep it up guys! :)
according to our tour guide at Himeji Castle (I was an exchange student in japan in high school), ninjas rarely, if ever, actually used swords. There were spies mostly... poisoning people and shit. -100 cool points. Sorry.
Well here goes! I earn a whopping 3200pound a year, oh actually I dont earn that its my student loan but thats what I have to live off...with the odd groveling to the parents and hoping for the best
if you are a student at university you get win7 pro 64 for free (along with other ms apps). just installed it on my home computer this weekend. but not for "main use" just to have something to test 64 bit compiles with.
[ QUOTE ] http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff100177.htm [/ QUOTE ] thats a pretty bad story... well, i am scared away from collins college... although their commercials and past student's demo reels were scary enough.
I heard a 3ds Max "teacher" (he really didn't know the software well at all) tell some of his students that he did basically that. Makes me wonder what kind of porn this guy was trying to find.
Seconded, indeed popular with the architecture crowd. I'm doing bsc 1 in architecture, though it's mainly the new students that don't know maya or max that use it. I have yet to see a proffessor use it in his works though
