Is it possible? Do you know someone like that? Can i focus all my time in 3D, learning anatomy in Zbrush and what not, and again produce characters/creatures from top modelers in the world?
Yes in VFX there are Artists doing retopo. But they do also other modeling stuff. They need to know how the blendshape system does work. There is back and forth between rigging and facial department and the modeler doing the topo. For complex creatures you can do topo for weeks.
Hello, My name is Kimberley Watts and I'm a character/creature animator looking for freelance animation work. I also have experience in rigging for real time engines. My portfolio can be found at: http://www.kimwatts.co.uk
Agree with the notes above. You could probably remove the human and have this a pure creature piece. When the dragon comes to land, I would expect more violent wing flapping.
I decided to go DARK :poly130: For this creeps den concept the main idea was that evil creatures comes out from the depth of the earth and starts to destroy all living forms around it.
Hello everybody! Here's a Cadmus' drawing study: And two creature design sketches for fun and for a contest, and I just discovered the amazing Sculpting program :) !: Thanks for looking and have a great day :) !
is it a nude character/creature with all pores sculpted? really no idea how anything else could need that much in one tool. If you can, please show what you have :)
Nice creature! I feel like since he has such a heavy and muscly torso that their legs should be beefier too to be able to support it. Overall, I'm loving all your assets.
great work , mate. The modelling is SPOT ON, however i think the textures and weathering on the clothes and armor still need work. The pink skin makes the creature seem less threatening imo.
Dumping some older stuff here. I'm starting to regret having stopped for so long :( This one was done as practice a long time ago for a Sea Creature weekly challenge on Conceptart.org
