Context: Im a student in the 3D game art area. I got this opportunity to get my first freelancer job in game assets. And the client asked for a small test. The briefing said this weird thing we are discussing.
I always love watching FZ's videos. I especially like that he takes the time to explain the science behind why something is the way it is visually, and draws over student work to show how to fix errors.
I'm bringing a group of media students over in the second week of November to check out universities and visit museums/galleries/VFX houses etc so I could meet up for a beer or two one evening?
I have posted this here since I didn´t find much about the issue when researching it and hope that it at some point helps a fellow student to not loose as many hairs as I did figuring this out.
aw yea! another great UTD student! I like your stuff partner. Keep it up. I'm not much for characters, so i cant offer the best critique. Otherwise, keep up the great work!
That looks interesting, though it seems strange that the first rule is that you need to own the software and ZB is the main prize (disregarding the statue..I guess that value varies from person t person.) It's great for students :D
Anybody happen to have a student room for me in Utrecht that isn't rediculously overpriced? It's pretty hard to get a room in a city that kicks so much ass. Rens: Where exactly were those taken, near Hilversum?
one of my students brought over his 360, we played quake4 for 5 mins, and 2 hours of 4 player Quake2. Looked good on the xb360. My PC version is at my folks place in NY
