So basically i am new to zbrush, like 4 days. I am trying to divide a cylinder into 2 or more subtools using dynamesh with groups enabled, and then i use ctrl + shift (slice curve brush) to create polygroups. After that i go subtool and in Split i click groups split. It divides the cylinder into 2 subtools as i want but…
Hi Guys, So assuming I'm modelling in modo and hit the subd button and want a perfect circle. Should I be using a 6 sided polygon or 8 sided polygon if I want a perfect circle? Thanks
For some reason my images are not staying in the thread as of late. Anyways here is a progress update with the texturing. Not entirely sure if I am sold on the sliding door on the side being orange. Will probably play with the colour or saturation. I do want that part coloured... orange seemed like a good idea but finding…
Hey Fellas, I'm currently working on a side scroller project with a heavy emphasis on the art and story, working with my writer friend whenever we can outside of work. We've got currently two people on the project which is mainly me as the artist and the other being the writer. We're in need of a designer/programmer who is…
I tried that, and there are two faces. However, it deletes one side or the other, not only one side (Camera based). There are only 2 verticies per edge, not 4 as there should be with 2 faces on each side. I will try to manually delete them, but I am still confused as to why this happens.
H. R. Giger was a pretty swell chap. His nightmarish renditions of both metal and flesh, merged into singular organisms from another world, always inspired me as an artist. That's why I decided to work in his footsteps, bringing his style forward into the world of CSGO! Why is he relevant to this contest? He was…
I've got a bunch of keyframes animated and set for the left side of a model. I can copy them over to the right side and it's fine, except that it copies it exactly and things like arms swinging inward swing outward on the other side and it looks strange. I know that you can mirror joints and polys but I don't see anything…
@guitarguy00 There's an "offset edge slide" tool that does something similar but it only adds and slides loops on either side of a highlighted loop. https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/modeling/meshes/editing/subdividing/loop.html#offset-edge-slide The closest I can come to replicating it (with stock tools) is…
Hey all ! I am really new here, just started to learn zbrush few days a go so i am sorry if this is a really stupid question: So i was just sculpting a basic model shape and used Dynamesh, my mesh turned a bit weird and got some surface modifications but i thought that would be normal according to what i've searched. Then…
Hey Polycount, I'm definitely a quieter member here, so forgive me if my question is redundant to an obnoxious extent. I currently am working on some cliff structures. These structures extend from one side to another, but they aren't linear. They bend and shift. They curve around and inside areas. I'm afraid to post…
