awesome ceebee :) wanted to figure out 3Dcoat retop/uv so lowpoly'd this guy from a couple months ago; I'm pretty comfortable retoping in Zbrush so for a first time it didn't really seem any faster, but having the option to actually megre/edit faces right away is just miles better and pixo should be ashamed at this point.…
Last couple of pages are chuck filled with good art, lets keep this momentum going :D @Ravenslayer- lol, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw your value study, besides it being awesome...I used charlize theron as a guide for sculpting the face. @retleks- thats a mighty good Hulk. Finalizing the texturing of the body. A…
Dado: Man, Always that I look to my image what pops in the first place is her face. Then her big boobs, and for final, the tentacle. Are you sure that the key are distracting you? It´s so tiny and so distant from everything. But anyway, I'll follow your suggestion and make things a bit apart. SirCatalot: Thank you, man. I…

Daphz: Thanks alot man, your character is looking so awsome. I…
I like that char :) Truth be told, for long hair those aren't that bad. What strikes me the most is how your normal map is handled. It seems a bit too choppy, not smoothed enough (for a face). Maybe the resolution of your map isn't quite enough or it's in your nm itself, maybe the hipoly yhou baked it from wasnt smoothed…

Up Close: Basically I can paint areas where I want icicles to form on objects. Here it is in action:…
Ravenslayer - the water looks great, as does the lighting all round. but something about the face seems off to me: possibly eyes too close together, inconsistent perspective, conflicting scale between face and head supaclueless - looking good, but there's a lack of definition between materials I think, other than their…
@EVIL: Yes, it is. She's got such a perculiar face I'm finding it hard to pin down. I'll investigate with a paintover to see if I can make sense of it. Nice Darksider Mace btw - dig that mouth of teeth! @Fomori: Thank you! @MrNinjutsu: Thank you! I was wondering how best to tackle the hair and wondered if Zbrush's…
We have Leigh Russell teaching us Maya these weeks! My concept for the scene and character! What I modelled this afternoon We have a budget of 30K faces for the character, and I spent ... 1.3K, which is twice as much as I'd personally use. He needs fluff, of course, but other than that I don't really know how to spend that…
