Looks great so far. I think you've got the gnomish look down pretty well. Perhaps it could benefit with an overall painted lighting pass. It's looking very flat-shaded/full-bright at the moment (because it is), so maybe a stronger indication of light direction would help ground things. I have no idea if that's the right…
The concept has a completely different usage of color. There is maybe "Blue" at the same place as on the concept and so on, but theres a lot more to it than just pick "ah this is green, i make mine green" On plus, the background needs to be considered, and even that lens flare. Per example, there is a purple tint in the…
The idea was that this is a sunset setting, so the shadows would not align up with the concept. Also how is the overall scene in brightness? I have a LED monitor and the scene looks to be the right brightness to see everything of importance clearly, but still dark enough for a sunset scene. Now if someone had a LCD…
Nice!!! the aged heads are the nicest ones in here imo! One thing i am noticing with your shading is that it is arbitrary right now. As you know 3d i'll explain it this way. Pick a plane and decide that that plane is perpendicular to the light soure. That plane is now as bright as it can get, now when you are shading your…
This extra shadow and highlight pass you added makes it much more interesting to look at, I think even if you had kept that previous saturated palette. I think the black background might make it difficult for you to get a feeling if the lighting is right or not. Use anything you can to help you work better. In this case,…
This is set up in UDK now. I need to a proper ground texture. Debating about doing terrain with it too. Once the windmill is finished I might add in another one in the back right. Seems like I need something over there. Lightmaps are only on the ground now. I'll probably change the whole scene over to lightmaps since they…
There's a bunch of things here that I think you need to fix, even this early. - The proportions of your architecture are screwy right now. Unless you have a specific photo that you are working from, I'd recommend adding a thick entablature (horiztonal trim at the top) to the building on the right. Just google entablature…
If you're using a modular setup for the ceiling tiles you might need to merge/weld them as well, lighting an interior with the direct dominant can be difficult at times. Make sure your meshes are double sided too, if that's the case! good luck, looking great :)

hmm ok....but that point is mute as I feel boxing has reached a wider audience and is more accepted than MMA is. I used those notable events as clear examples which actually transcended the sport. I will go further characters like Joe Louis, Ali, Marciano have all transcended the sport they are known by people who didn't…
