Sticking with the limited edition, it's price is being brought down in line with the regular edition over here. Wanted the Hobbe figure though :/ Bonus content is still an extra dungeon, a legendary weapon, spartan armour and energy sword from halo.
Another update woooh! My first time painting armor, its really coming along quite well i think :P EDIT: I'm calling him finished! Time to make his sword and accessories! EDIT: BRIGHTER!
Started work on the sheath. You may be asking how the hell the sword slides into this thing. Well, the top edge is open along most of it's length, except near the tip. The bottom edge is connected (sewed closed) along it's entire length.
Arn't you the guy that copied Zack Fowler's sword. Oh the ironing lol ...but yeah, we've seen things like this a few times in the past, but I don't think they will get far. lol Zip you are pretty cute :P
Hey, It seems close enough to the "actual" Obiwan third light saber. Any new thought about how you're gonna make the light sword? Regarding the texturing, maybe you can do a very light dirt pass?
Some more exterior work including some sculpted elements. All that is left is the lower torso+legs. Also just gotta figure how to model his sword arm properly so it makes sense once rigged/moving
Yep, I use Deep paint + last week I tried Mudbox for projection texturing. I heard a lot good thing about 3d coat and want to try this program too. Couple concepts and sword texture refine.
Can't wait to see that 'Conquistador' Kunkka set, some really nice color breakup going on already. Only thing I'd suggest is pushing the sword silhouette more, still feels a little too similar to his original weapon.
OK here's another quick update - I took the advice of Sweetangel and tried to work on the boxiness I created new walls (that aren't completely straight) and added some support beams :) I also added a rug, and some swords
How "sharp" is your high poly for the sword edge? Many times its advantageous to make the edges softer than they are in real life for the purpose of getting a nice bake. It could also be a matter of if your cage is a bit too big.
