Maybe round the out a little more? They look slightly pointed and usually they follow the shape of the eyeball which is almost perfectly round with the exception of the protrusion on the iris, which shouldn't effect the bags. Either bring the lowest point up a little or the side near the corner down and out just slightly.… -

So this is the scene where they're moving the crate with the arc in it into the big warehouse? That's not in any of the versions that I've seen. I'm not sure how that shot would fit in. It'd seem to make that final shot less effective. If it did indeed ever exist, I'd imagine it could have been chopped out for pacing… -

That was done in UDK IIRC, you cannot animate materials in X2 right off the bat (since they don't support vertex distortion, flipbooks, etc). You could maybe blend several version of shader using one of the blending modes in Max? Each one using a different texture? But that would take far too long and would not be worth it. -

Crysis 1 did this for their nano-suit iirc, as long as the amount of tiling is similar I don't see any way it would affect performance discernibly. I assume 3d painting programs like 3dcoat and bodypaint would have issues displaying the normal map and diffuse map for painting at the same time, and painting would be a… -

I found the solution, repeat after me: :poly142: So, DominantDirectionalLight Doesn't cut it? Your using an old build of UDK correct? Nice work so far. I looks like her, but you could the likeness further. For starters, the eyeballs are too low. As a rough guideline, the upper eyelid should just about touch the edge of the pupil (instead of the iris). Also, the upper lip on your model is definitely thicker than the reference. I used to quasi work with Mcfarlane and I asked him about this once. iirc correctly he said Zbrush was the way to go..he had a couple of traditional sculptors still but more and more they were getting on the zbrush train. And that was 4-5 years ago...I don't imagine they're LESS zbrushy now, you know? -

I really like this scene a lot. The color choices are great. They remind me of the Arc from the game Brink that is coming out next year. I'm having trouble seeing what your geometry is doing from these images. The patterned arcs look wire thin, probably too small for the pixels you're trying to bake to. In the second image, there's a part hanging off the bottom right, I can't tell if that's flat and just hanging down or if it has depth and floats partially…
