Hey man, good stuff! I left some notes on syncsketch. I think its mainly your posing and the final spin attack that needs work. Make sure the arcs on the sword flow in a curve and his posing matches what he is currently doing (using compression and stretching to show quick changes in velocity.. etc) -

when doing the quick rig, do the step by step option. It lets you change the binding settings. By default it is set to linear iirc, try setting it to dual quaternion, it should give you better results. The axis on your mesh seems to be rotated weirdly. Try freezing your lowpoly first so the transforms are reset. -

I kinda feel like the eyes should be a wee bit further apart, she "stares" too much as well I'd say, dunno if you're doing that on purpose for rigging or not though. Maybe a little more "squint" to the eyes so that you don't see the whole iris. Other than that, good work! Looking forward to more :) -

Yes. I have the same problem with pressing the "B" button by accident. I have the "V" button set as my Arc rotate shortcut, so that is why i am accidentally pressing B. So i just changed B to do nothing in the shortcut options. My only suggestion would be to do the same with undo. -

Aesthetically, yeah, it's pretty solid. The changing arc of the mag kind of looks strange, but it still works. Practically, though, that thing would be all but impossible to hold. There's barely room to get your hand on the pistol grip, and the mag / mag support would be banging into your wrist and forearm, possibly even… -

I haven't opened zbrush since my older machine that had 16gb ram and 1060 card. IIRC, anything over a couple million triangles in zbrush would get pretty laggy. Just as some point of reference. But usually for any sort of details that need such high resolution, I found it generally better to apply them at texture level in… -

Re: GPU rendering Substance Painter Iray possible?
Substance painter's Iray does use the GPU (unless you're using an older GPU), it doesn't show in you task manager because it uses Cuda cores (iirc, can't check on current pc). Under your Task manager's Performance tab, change the GPU's graph to show cores' performance and you should see some spikes. -

Without downloading this directly I'm having a hard time finding out what you're allowed to do with this SDK, make money off Arc Vis, sell a new game, release free mods? Like what can you do, the FAQ/EULA just says read the EULA when downloading it and I don't own RAGE to download it.
