@KassEscoe @LANKUS MAXIMUS Thanks a lot for the compliments. I wrapped this up around 2 years ago, so you must have been deep in the archives to have found this haha. I should really do something similar because I'm sure I can do a better job of it now than I did back then.
You're going to want to give us an existing example of what you mean by "semi-real" so we can understand what you want to hit in terms of a goal. Lips are challenging, for sure. I've always found this image to be helpful though. Remember that the corners of the mouths divot inwards and that the lips wrap around the teeth,…
elfronza: Thank you! Hopefully this update looks even better :) Alrighty, I considered a handful of feedback and have made some major lighting and color tweaks. Let me know if there's anything that stands out still. I'm feeling pretty good about this one, hopefully I can start wrapping this project up and getting to the…
Wrapped up week 3 lectures today, time to digest all of this content. We covered what makes up most of the shape of a face, the assortment of fat pads. There is a lot to take in so I'll be doing a number of ecorche paintovers to have a better understanding of what is going on in a variety of different faces. Here is the…
im working on this like for a month http://www.polycount.com/forum/showthread.php?t=81508&page=2 im copiing the photoshop functionally (for now except of the paint functionality) completely in wrap mode but still nobody here cares about it :D edit: at the moment i'm working on a easier Filter framework so people can create…
The armor he has on his legs don't wrap around his calves very well, it looks awkward. From the concept you don't see very well what's going on at the back of his legs. pseudo-update, add a "title page" image to the first post as a sort of general guide to the pieces I currently want to wrap up. as I finish each one I'll replace the desaturated image with the proper colourfull textured version. Heavy Henry is there cause I still need to make the damned realtime version of him. thanks for…
This must be the last hardware race don't you think? Sony have this one wrapped up pretty good according to vgchartz. (Dec 2018) My predictions for the future, Sony PS5 & Microsoft XBOX2 fight it out in a final showdown with a hardware solution but with a cloud based option in the near future. Nintendo release a totally…
Everything is very well executed. My only issue is the material choice for her top, head wrap, and loin cloth. It looks too velvety and soft. If that's what your going for, it's your preference. But I think something a little bit glossier like leather might suit her better. Everything else looks top notch. Great work.
I think your completely right @jeebs and @CSOConnor. I'm going to do some proportional studies once I get a good foundation going. I'd really like to put my own style into it and exaggerate some stuff and not stick as close to the splash. Mostly just getting my head wrapped around the different forms + pieces
