maya 8.5: displaying textures and lightmaps in viewport
just a quickie, please tell me if I'm missing something here. Am I right in thinking the best way to show a lightmap is to create a material coloured with a multi layer texture, with a texture on one layer and the lightmap above set to multiply? and for each new texture, you need to make it multi layer in the same fashion?… -
Splines not showing ( 3ds Max 2016 )
Hello friends, I was working on this small Robot Model yesterday night and saved it and closed it. Today morning for some reason splines is not showing. The Layer is turned on, it is checked on in the "Enable in the Viewport" and I don't what to do? Please help Thanks As you can see in the screenshot which I have attached,… -

If you are owner of any iOS device I would try this AR app or similar for measuring. I know it's not like laser tape but I think it can by handy. Or Android should have something too. -

@n88tr: yeah it is... not very original but just tried adding a little to spruce it up... will be adding a scope like EarthQuake suggested and maybe will be adding a laser on the side or button of the foregrip.. please feel free to comment. thanks -

I have this mouse pad (which rocks), but I don't use it anymore. The new laser mouse I bought works better on the surface of my drafting table than with this. Makes ZERO sense, but whatever. -

I'm not sure how they're supposed to be done, fins might work, too (especially since the camera won't rotate much in such a game). They just needto get wider because they look like lasers ATM.
