thank you - i was certainly trying for accuracy but there's also a few places where i specifically changed things, usually to get a better bake. a good example is the browning which has two changes i can think of - it actually has a proper rear sight in real life, with a gap that you're meant to sight through, but i…
I tried recalculating the Normals in Blender but it still won't change. I took the Right wheel duplicated it and flipped it in order to get the left wheel which is "messed up". In Blender I don't have this issue, but in Marmoset I do.
You definitely have the skills present to enter as a junior, I am at roughly the same place but sometimes even the best reels go unnoticed without that extra "Ummph" to the reel. To echo what Heboltz has said really nail the presentation, I am in the same position looking for that first industry role it can be…
More progress on textures, I plan to get them to a refined state by the end of this week. Any feedback is welcome and much appreciated. Also I cannot decide if I should use a white background or a darker background. So any advice on that would be helpful. (the light background variant is on the next message because for…
Hello there. So I had it where I shared this anime character I made. I was able to get some great feedback but from the feedback it does make me wonder on these. Now i use these on substance painter but if these are things I do in blender please let me know. I was told how my character need what I believe i spelled it…
For head lengths, it would be a good idea to hide the hat and the hair so that your measuring with the full head to get a more accurate measurement. I overlayed a diagram of 8 heads tall figure as a point of reference. (Scaled so that the head and facial features match your model) You're probably too far into the process…
Yes I googled sharpest lenses . Those would be Sigma ones for sony e-mount and they are not that much expensive too. I just wonder if they do any difference vs this TTArtisan 23 mm or even kit lens when set at f/8 or f/5.6 I don't like too soft mesh details I get from a6000 with those apertures and it's definitely not a…
All comments on the website aside,as Daz mentioned it also lacks focus. It doesnt properly show what you can do. The easiest way to get into the industry is doing environment art, tons of env. assets are needed to make game and its the best bet for getting your foot in the door. Also try to incorporate some next gen assests…
I realized I went radio silent on this thread for a while, got busy with other stuff. I want to update that I finished this project a while back, and I was able to achieve most of my objectives. Eventually I created the completely modular character asset with this project, with whole inner body mesh with a set of outfit. I…

I have three main areas I'm working on: * The Lobby * Egg Puzzle Room * Water Puzzle Room * 4. Puzzle Technically the gameplay works, but visually the scenes feel "flat" and…
