I can think of quite a few. Phantasy Star Online 2 had various long hair styles. There is the newest American Mcgee's Alice, Heavenly Sword, and a few characters in the newer Star Ocean games.
things to steer clear of: - old damaged pillar - stone fountain - fire hydrant - hand-painted sword - sci fi hallway (debatable) - M4 Assault Rifle (debatable) - ? (tongue placed in cheek-pocket here)
Still a fair while to go I think. It would be nice to get a few more sets of eyes on this. Polycount is around 18'000, with 1 *2048 map for body and sword, 1 * 1024 map for head and hair.
A concept that I am currently working on modeling. I consider it a sort of fan spin-off of this video game weapon. See topic here for progress: http://polycount.com/discussion/162564/dragon-fang-sword
Heh, I've waited this many years for it, I'll just wait for the damn paperback :P My hardcover Storm of Swords got trashed in my last move anyway, so my set will still match
More wip, i open a bit more the compo, i tried to make the sword go more with the perspective, like Enalya said, also i add those energy balls, still messing around with this ^^
well, i was planning on seeing how good this character comes out in the source engine, before running round like a headless muppet trying to find a team who wants to make a swords % sorcery modification.
I have a thief character who has some weapons kinda floating around him, but lets say i want him to grab these weapons at some point, draw out his sword ... is there a way to make that weapon attach to his hand?
Hello, This is my first post using Polycount :) I am working on remaking a fantasy sword from an MMORPG, Any type of feedback on the attached images would be awesome! I am trying to make the blade appear more "Realistic" and "Shiny" ( UE4 material screenshot attached :)
