There are a few ways I can think to handle it and it depends on what its for. If its just for rendering sprites you can use FFD to deform the eye. Or morphers/blend shapes on the eyes. If you could redesign the character a bit so the mouth was a bit more shallow or had a tiny bit of a muzzle you could keep the eyes out of…
-When creating the base rig, in the modify panel select an arm/leg bone and enable 'use up node' This will create point helper vectors at the elbow/knee -There are no spinners/sliders to control foot roll. You would have to rig this yourself with custom attributes. -You can add a single digit in setup mode and use the…
Hello! I don't have harsh words but hopefully I have useful a critique. You're showing an ortho view of the sculpt. Did you also sculpt in ortho? This can be very challenging and look wrong once you switch to the target focal length in perspective. When working from references look up "focal length portrait" to get a sense…
If you export as an fbx or send the scene the max it will convert all the joints to helpers, which are skinned and act like bones, none of the constraints will transfer over. I'm sure it's possible to clean it up but it seems like it would be easier to just rig it in max at that point. Maybe another user here has a work…
Ironically, if you make every color saturated, then none will actually stand out as such. In order to make the colors seem luminous, you have to tone down most of them, and then choose one or two you want to play up. A color will only seem luminous when set against other colors that are muted and/or darker.
Hi everyone, This is a WIP prototype level that our team of 7 has been working on with the mentoring of members from SOE. The premise was to create a level that would fit within the Free Realms style, with a sci-fi twist added to it. Long background story short, a group of exiles crash land on a desolate planet, and in the…
Concept and model look great, however the texture feels very flat and boring. I had envisioned similar to borderlands, but thats just me. also get rid of the leather texture on the waist, just texture it bone there, would definitely look sick. Good work none the less. //mason
whatever you show, it should be done well. Having more low quality won't make up the difference. It's better to be a master of one than a master of none. Of course after you master one thing you feel like tackling something else then go light the world on fire.

Just make that input that you marked in green plug into the landscapelayerblend, into the layer input you want. For desaturation, when working with landscape materials, whenever possible I make edits to textures in photoshop, to keep the instruction count down as much as possible. If your intention is to make several…
