Someone posted this on my xp64 thread : That's $170 for xp64 from amazon.com I don't know if you can call it cheap, but personally i'm using the uh, "student edition" for now.
Its harder for a lot of students going right into their new terms around the starting date of the challenge, but I would be a fool to pass this up... so I won't. Looking forward to it... WEOP!
I think I should lighten up the head. This is a mock up of the second character...if I decide to finish it. Most of the students in class seem to be only able to finish one character.
Just wanted to post progress on the birdcage, I chose to work on it further because it's not typical furniture I've seen in student portfolios. I'm still working on it but I wanted some feedback.
I went there and saw all that, but if you go to the home page www.vast.ws it says the site is for students so I don't think we should have been given a link to that stuff.
I am a 2nd year animation student and I've really grown fond of environment art. Here is my latest interior, Its a little clean as I'm not yet finished so your critique would be very helpful, thanks!
Looking for any advice from anyone thats attended escape studios, specifically the games art courses. Is it worth the time and costs? Also are there any other methods of covering costs out there apart from student loan/career development
Hey guys, my name's Anderson, I'm a self taught student of 3d modeling and sculpting (for about one year now). I really hope you guys can help me improve with your crits and comments. Thank you.
Yeah I cannot find any information about the student upgrade to commercial path cost. Maybe I should just use Modo Indie on Steam since it all seems really expensive.
If you didn't know, you can get a 90 days trial (non-premium) at Digital Tutors if you are a student. When you are just starting, you probably don't need the premium. <3
